As the conference hotel for the CSHEMA 2010 annual conference, the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is the ideal location to stay during the conference. All keynote sessions, breakout sessions, registration, and other on-site events will take place at the hotel. The most convenient lodging location for the 2010 annual conference is the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.
The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is located in Baltimore's inner harbor and is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront features a fully-equipped fitness center, on-site business center, lobby with wine bar, and several restaurants.
Guest rooms feature Marriott's signature Revive bedding, coffee maker, and breathtaking views of downtown Baltimore.
Reservations
CSHEMA's special conference rate at the 2010 annual conference hotel, The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront has ended. If you would like to reserve a room at the conference hotel, call Marriott reservations at 1.800.228.9290.
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
Transportation
Airplane
Baltimore is serviced by Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) Shuttle service from BWI to the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is provided by The Airport Shuttle and SuperShuttle. Taxi service will run from approximately $30–$45 to the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.
Driving
The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront maps and transportation webpage has driving directions to the hotel. Onsite parking at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is $25 daily with valet parking $38 daily.
Bus/Train
Baltimore can be reached by bus or train. The Greyhound Bus station is two miles north of the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Penn Station is one mile north of the hotel and is accessible by Amtrak.
Public Transporation
We recommend using mass transit to get to the hotel from BWI Airport. The Light Rail station is on the lower level next to Concourse E at BWI AirportBefore boarding, purchase a ticket from vending machines at each station. Tickets are not available onboard. The one-way fare is $1.60. The Light Rail hours of operation are Monday to Saturday: 6 AM - 11 PM and Sunday: 11 AM - 7 PM.
The Light Rail system runs to downtown Baltimore and Camden Yards where Oriole Park and M&T Bank Stadium are located through to Hunt Valley in Baltimore County. You will want to disembark at the Camden Yards stop to get on the Charm City Circulator. The Charm City Circulator is free.
Get on the Charm City Circulator at stop 218 which is located at the intersection of Pratt and Eutaw Sts at Camden Yards or at stop 219 which is located at the intersection of Pratt and Sharp Sts at the Convention Center
Take the Charm City Circulator to stop 223 at Harbor East Circle. The hotel is ½ block towards the harbor on Aliceanna St.
