Scholarship Award Program
This program encourages creative problem solving by rewarding new approaches to difficult challenges. Criteria by which entries are evaluated include the following: identification of a problem, method of implementation, cost effectiveness, and applicability to other institutions.
The Campus Safety Health and Environmental Management Association offers a $2,000 scholarship to encourage the study of environmental and occupational health, safety and related disciplines. The program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students in all majors/disciplines enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester, trimester, or quarter. Members are invited to mentor students and encourage them to apply.
The recipient of the 2007 scholarship is Cheryl Patrice Tebben from Iowa State University.
