Jonathan Klane will relate and reveal much of the scientific research on stories via storytelling. Learning more about the research and science of stories may boost your confidence to use stories more in your EHS practice. It could also aid you in convincing others to support your storytelling efforts on campus. As a bonus, you’ll receive a rather lengthy list of story research references for your future learning and use.

This webinar will enable you to:

o Summarize the breadth and depth of storytelling research and science
o Describe the research on changes to our blood chemistry and other physiologic changes that occur during affective stories
o Defend the significance of the many studies on narrative transportation including safety related research
o Describe the science behind using stories to persuade others including about risk perceptions
